DAY WITH NATIVES:
A NATIVE PLANT WORKSHOP
May 31, 2014 9 a.m.
CHOOSE FROM TOURS ON:
• Restoration – Glades, savannas and prairies can be recreated or restored on your land
• Wildlife – Create habitat for everything from quail and turkey to deer and pollinators
• Landscaping – Learn the steps involved in planting a wildflower meadow from seed
• Forages – Warm season grasses can fill the summer slump in a grazing operation
Tours will end around 1 p.m. We will provide lunch; please RSVP so we know how much food to prepare. If you wish, after lunch join us for a hayride through the wildflower fields and some restored savannas. One person likened the fields to the tulip fields of Holland. It will end around 4 p.m.

WARM SEASON GRASS
PASTURE WALK
June 28, 2014 3 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Join us for a pasture walk at the Hamilton Ranch. It may be a warm day, but that's when the warm season grasses are growing and looking their best. Also, find out about our native diversity project; we're in the second year and have 100 species planted for grazing.
Supper will be provided, but please RSVP so we know how much food to prepare.
